The Scream Queens actor shares three kids, Goldie Hawn's grandkids, with wife Erinn Bartlett

Fans of Oliver Hudson have long loved him for his candid and comedic social media antics, but the latest might be his most relatable yet.

The actor received a wave of support from his fans who are fellow parents, after he gave insight into the changing dynamic in his household as his three kids approach the angsty tween and teenage years.

He shares three kids – three of Goldie Hawn's seven grandkids – with his wife Erinn Bartlett, who he has been married to since 2006. His eldest is Wilder, 15, followed by Bodhi, 13, and their little sister Rio, nine.

Oliver took to Instagram Monday to share his latest parenting qualm, posting a video from inside his, to his frustration, very quiet California home.

"Oliver Hudson reporting live from my house," he started, adding: "I just brought the kids back from school, the ride was fairly quiet, few one words, [a] few grunts… We get home, straight upstairs," before panning the camera around to reveal his homes' second floor.

As he panned the camera around to show all of the bedroom doors, he noted: "Door closed, door closed, doors closed," one after one, adding: "Closed, closed, the doors are closed. Immediately," in a disappointed tone.

Oliver further said: "There's a good chance I won't see them until probably… 6:30pm? 7pm?" he guessed, half hopeful.

"LIVE REPORT: KIDS SAY NOTHING ON THE CAR RIDE HOME AND THEN DISAPPEAR," he captioned the post, to which his sister Kate Hudson wrote back in the comments: "Hahahaha."

Other followers of the father-of-three expressed their sympathies in the comments too, writing: "They'll come out when they're hungry… then go back in again," and: "I've learned to take the grunts as thank yous and I love yous," as well as: "This is EXACTLY our house!"

One fan however argued: "School is a massive sensory overload for most children. They need their quiet, safe space to regulate and then they will make time for conversation and parents. They still love us, but it needs to be when they are ready," with many following suit with the same sentiment.
