This article is more than 14 years oldPolice suspect suicide after 28-year-old Briton's body is found at her apartmentThe British actor Lucy Gordon, who appeared in Spider-Man 3, has been found dead in her Paris flat after apparently killing herself.
She was found at the 10th arrondissement apartment yesterday, two days before her 29th birthday. Police said an autopsy had been ordered to determine the cause of death, adding that it appeared to be a suicide.
The Oxford-born actor appeared in a dozen films and played reporter Jennifer Dugan in the third instalment of Spider-Man. She made her debut in 2001 in Perfume, which follows a group of characters at a New York modelling show. In 2002 she starred in historical drama The Four Feathers with Heath Ledger.
Gordon most recently played the British singer and actor Jane Birkin in the upcoming biopic Serge Gainsbourg (A Heroic Life). The film is due for release early next year and trailers were shown this week at the Cannes film festival.
